New Classes with Kim Curtis  

We are delighted to introduce you to Kim Curtis. Kim will offer two weekly classes starting March 12, 2024.

Restorative Yoga Tuesdays 7:30-8:30pm (Starts March 12th)
Yin Yoga Thursdays 12-1:00pm (Starts March 14th)

"My practice truly began in college as I found the classes on campus were an escape, an oasis of peace that I wandered into not recognizing how it would impact my life. As I learned to focus on my breath, my awareness expanded, my heart opened and my world was forever changed. I received my 200 Hr certification in 2020 from Yoga Blue Studios. My holistic offerings also include dance therapy and herbal consultations.

New Mysore Style Ashtanga Classes with Meredith Murphy

Mysore Style Ashtanga
Mondays & Wednesdays 8 - 10am

In Mysore-style Ashtanga, you're taught one-on-one in the supportive context of the community. You are carefully guided through the ashtanga series step-by-step at your own pace. You're encouraged to memorize the postures over time so that you develop your own ritual of practice. This practice is yours to take with you and practice on your own.  The Mysore Program is open for all levels to embrace being students together in a clear, safe and encouraging space.  Learn more about Mysore Style Ashtanga here

About Meredith Murphy
Meredith has been practicing and teaching Ashtanga yoga for 20+ years. She was the official yoga teacher for the NBA New Orleans Hornets/Pelicans for seven years , created the app “Yoga Assist” and is 500 hour ERYT certified. She has taught for and hosted 200-hour Yoga Teacher  Trainings and is Balance Yoga & Wellness’s studio manager.
