Change Your Yoga Story: Fall Mysore Yoga Challenge Starts October 10th

Let me guess.

You want the benefits that a consistent yoga practice delivers. The calm mind, the strong body, the lack of aches and pains…

You want all that for yourself.

But when you attend a yoga class or two per week, you’re missing out on much of yoga’s benefits. Sure, after a class you feel better but you’re not seeing the big changes that you’d like in the rest of your life.

By practicing yoga more frequently you can expect

  • A calmer, less frazzled mind
  • A leaner, stronger and happier body
  • Better sleep
  • Lower blood pressure
  • Less stress

Are you ready to transform your relationship to your yoga practice and to boost your health?

It’s time to change your yoga story. And here’s how you do it.

Fall In Love With the Process

Why do you practice yoga?

Is it to get a fitter body, do reduce stress, or to build strong “yoga arms”?

To get the big prize, you have to fall in love with the process. And this might seem boring. But to get better at anything, and to achieve your goal, you have to fall in love with the process that gets you there.

  • To write a bestselling book, you have to love the mundane process of a writing habit
  • To run a marathon you have to fall in love with your average daily run
  • To lose twenty pounds, you have to embrace a new way of eating

To meet your yoga goals, you have to practice yoga even when you’re bored or don’t feel like it.

I’ve been there many times. Right now I force myself to practice yoga when I’m tired and don’t feel like the extra work due to the 25 extra pounds of baby weight.

But I know that when I practice yoga, I avoid the crappy pregnancy aches and pains — sore lower back, hip pain, acid reflux, and shortness of breath. So at 34 weeks and progressing, I huff and puff and move my big belly around the yoga mat. And it’s worth it. But I’ll tell you — most of the time I don’t feel like doing yoga when I start. I’d rather nap.

So this October we’re offering you a way to get past your excuses and to finally change your yoga story.
