Congratulations! You just took a step onto a path to improved health and well-being. Here are a few details to help you to get started. Please note that the classes on both Groupon types – 10 Class Pass & Unlimited are valid for ONE MONTH. So that means you need try out lots of classes!
How to redeem your Groupon in 4 Easy Steps
Alternative method:
1. Fill out the new student registration below, be sure to note your login and password.
2. Come to the studio with your Groupon voucher printed, or you can show it on your iPhone.
3. Our front desk staff will complete the purchase of your 10-Class card (valid 30 days) or Unlimited Yoga for 30 days in our system.
4. You attend your yoga class! After this you will be able to pre-register for yoga classes using our online scheduler and your login and password.
New Student Registration – Register now and skip the paperwork at the front desk. (Please Let the staff know you filled this out to avoid double work)
Can I use the Groupon Voucher for any class?
Yes! You can use it for any regularly scheduled classes (excluding workshops). If you would like to use it for one of our many community classes, let the front desk staff know. You can attend “Series” classes provided there is space. These are run as courses, and students pre-sign up for 6 -8 weeks of classes. Typically these are Intro to Yoga Series. These classes tend to get busy, so we usually let Groupon students in on a first come first serve basis. If there are 10 students pre-registered, this leaves 6 spots for drop in students. You can sign up for the series and pay separately here.
If you purchased the unlimited card, you can come every day to class, but there is a limit to one class per day. This is a software limitation.
What happens if I don’t use all the classes in my 10 class pass?
The classes cannot be used after the 30 day deadline. The good news is that even if you come only four out of 10 times, you’ve saved $15 off what the normal drop in price would be.
What are my options after I finish the Groupon?
We hope you will continue to come to classes at Balance. We have a very affordable deal for monthly yoga, BYW Membership – $88/month when you commit to 4 months on autopay. You also get a quarterly free workshop and 10% discount on other workshops and retail. Read more here. We also offer monthly pass for $108 – no minimum commitment. Update 7/9/14 – We are now offering a special continuation for Groupon purchasers of $75 for one month of unlimited yoga! Buy it here.

Hi,
I just purchased the 10 class option on Group-On. I have practiced yoga in the past (last around 2 years ago) and I miss it very much. I broke my leg at the hip a couple of years ago and its been a slow recovery. What type of class should I start with? I have most of my mobility back but not what as much as I would like. Thanks for any guidance.
Faith Weidenhaft
Hi Faith,
An intro to yoga class or restorative yoga would be the best places to start.
