CERTIFICATIONS
I completed my 200 hour YTT yoga teacher training at Anaturra Ashram, a heart-centered Tantra school known for its trauma-informed and inclusive philosophy. This training emphasized the spiritual aspects of Yoga with a focus on Chakras. Meanwhile, I learned to create safe, welcoming spaces for all practitioners.
MY INSPIRATION
My yoga journey began unexpectedly with an ankle injury that led me to seek low-impact practices as basketball and running were off limits. Through this challenging time, I discovered the healing power of yoga, which not only aided my physical recovery but also provided mental and emotional balance.
WHY I PRACTICE
Yoga offering a path to holistic well-being. I practice to maintain physical strength and flexibility, but more importantly, to foster a deep connection between breath, body, and mind. Through regular practice, I find a sense of inner peace, improved self-awareness, and a tool for managing life's daily stresses. The continuous growth and self-discovery that yoga offers, keep me coming back to the mat day after day.
WHY I TEACH
Experiencing the transformative power of yoga firsthand, I am passionate about sharing this practice with others. I teach to create a nurturing environment where students can explore their potential, overcome limitations, and cultivate mind-body awareness. I specialize in guiding beginners and seniors, helping them find empowering movements suited to their unique bodies. I cherish how students leave classes feeling rejuvenated and uplifted.
