CERTIFICATIONS

I'm a meditation & mindfulness instructor with a deep commitment to enhancing people's well-being. In 2016 I completed my training in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction at the UC San Diego School of Medicine, marking the beginning of my journey into the world of meditation. My passion for holistic well-being extends beyond meditation; I am a lifelong practitioner of yoga, expressive art therapy and a cancer survivor. 

MY INSPIRATION

I am inspired by grace, strength, acceptance, perseverance, and stillness. My asana practice is influenced by hatha, vinyasa, ashtanga, and functional mobility.

WHY I PRACTICE

My practice includes a focus on self-compassion as taught by Kristen Neff. I believe compassion practiced individually can heal us globally.

WHY I TEACH

I extend this by my offerings to non-profit organizations such as Eden House Nola, the Laurel Senior Living Center. and the Smith Center for Healing Arts in Washington, DC.
