Yin Workshop with Victoria McIntyre
First Sunday of the month 4-5:15pm
75 minutes of yin yoga to soften and work into the connective tissues and joints. This class is perfect to unwind and prepare you for the week ahead. Expect extended holds, mostly in seated postures supported by props. This brings a deep release, increased flexibility and range of motion to the joints. This practice is suitable to all levels of students.
I teach to share the benefits I have experienced through my own practice with others. I teach to hold space for my students to play and grow in their own practice. I love the room the study and practice of yoga provides to gain greater understanding of the body and mind, including and beyond anatomy and specific alignment principles. In my classes expect an intentional and intelligent flow with mindful sequencing building on layers of movement and linking movement to breath.
